Four drug peddlers killed in Karachi encounters, arms, drugs recovered

Four drug peddlers were killed and a cop injured besides recovery of arms and drugs during separate incidents of fire exchange here on Sunday.

 

According to details, the police raided the den of a notorious drugs pusher identified as Wahid alias Bush in Ittihad Police Station jurisdiction during which exchange of fire took place. The culprits started firing at police and tried to flee. In retaliatory action of police two smugglers identified as Naseem Gul and Aleemullah alias Khan died while their accomplice Farooq managed to flee from the scene. The police recovered two pistols, two hand grenades and five kilogram of high quality hashish from the possession of the detainees.

 

Another accused whose identity has not been ascertained was killed in targeted operation of police in Khajoor Market locality of Kharadar.

 

In Korangi Bagh locality of the metropolis, the police killed an accused named Muhammad Ilyas and wanted by police in several cases of robberies and rape of women. Arms and explosive material were recovered from the possession of the killed criminal.

 

A policeman was seriously wounded in exchange of fire with two culprits in Pakistan Bazaar area of Orangi Town. The criminals managed to flee after injuring the cop.
