Police have arrested a robber while his accomplices escaped in the Abbasia Town in the airport police limits.
The police signalled a car to stop, however, the car occupants attempted to flee under the cover of fire. The police retaliated and arrested one robber in injured condition while his three accomplices escaped abandoning the car behind.
The police identified the arrested robber as Awais Khan, an Afghan national. According to the police, the car they were travelling in was stolen. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
