SSP (Operation) Hafiz Irfanullah Friday recorded statements of three people Ashfaq Chachu, Pervaiz Niazi and Muhammad Mohsin in Bhola Gujar murder case.
In their statements, they said allegations levelled by convict Naveed Commando were totally baseless.
The re-investigation of the case is being made under orders of Anti Terrorism Court Judge Raja Pervaiz Akhtar in light of the confessional statement of the key convict Naveed Commando, who was recently awarded four-time death penalty by the Anti Terrorism Court.
The statement of another three people, including Rana Shehar Yar Khan and two police officers, DSP Malik Khalid Hussain and SI Malik Jahangir, is expected to be recorded on Saturday.
