The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab police arrested a terrorist of a banned outfit and his two accomplices besides recovering arms and provocative literature from them here on Thursday.
The CTD responding to an intelligence report conducted operation in limits of Cantt Police Station during which a terrorist identified as Qamar Abbas belonging to a defunct organisation was arrested. On information of the detainee, the CTD conducted another raid on Burki Road and arrested his two accomplices.
Arms and provocative literature were recovered from possession of the accused who have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
