Chinese Acrobats performance enthralled audience here at National University of Modern Languages (NUML).
Wife of Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Mrs. Bao Jiqing, Rector NUML Major General (R) Zia ud Din Najam, Chinese Cultural Counselor Zheng Guojin, officials of the embassy, registrar, Deans, directors, head of departments and a large number of participants attended the colourful ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Bao Jiqing said China has 56 cultural versatilities and Chinese culture is based on peace and harmony.
She said NUML is playing a major role in promoting Chinese language and culture in Pakistan and embassy will cooperate with NUML in further enhancing the cultural activities.
Addressing the ceremony, Rector NUML Major General(R) Ziaud Din Najam said China’s acrobatic is the best in the world and Chinese performers have the ability to mesmerize audience through their perfection in acrobat art.
He said for closer and heartiest friendship, language and culture play a vital role and NUML is making hectic efforts to promote Chinese culture and language in the country.
Acrobatic performers from South Central University for Nationalities demonstrated their skills and enthralled the audience. The ceremony was jointly organized by the Confucius Institute and NUML.
