“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, the “Harry Potter” spin-off, will have more than one central character apart from Newt Scamander.
He will be joined by three others who will assist him in completing the dangerous tasks on the adventure, reported Aceshowbiz.
“The assumption is Newt’s front and center, but it’s a quartet. So that feels like it slightly takes the [pressure] off. At least, that’s what I’m telling myself,” said leading man Eddie Redmayne.
The three characters who will join him are Tina (Katherine Waterston), a determined employee at the Magical Congress of USA, Queenie (Alison Sudol), the one who possesses an ability to telepathically peel back the layers of the mind, and Jacob (Dan Fogler), the first Muggle main character in the franchise.
The upcoming movie centers on Newt, the schoolbook’s fictitious author in the Potterverse.
It is set 70 years before Harry Potter reads his book in Hogwarts and will also chronicle Newt’s adventures in New York, where he travels to discover and document more magical creatures.
Directed by David Yates, it will release in US on December 18, 2016.
