The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on Tuesday issued notices to Lahore High Court (LHC) judges Shahid Hamid Dar and Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi on charges of graft and misconduct.
Justice Shahid Dar comes on fourth number on the seniority list while Justice Justice Mazahar Naqvi on eleventh.
Justice Dar is accused of graft and Justice Naqvi of giving weak verdicts leading to advantage of criminals. The SJC chairman (chief justice of Pakistan) will initiate action against the two LHC judges on November 12.
