Lahore factory rescue operation completed after 131 hours

The rescue operation in Sunder Industrial Estate factory collapse has been completed after 131 hours during which 103 people were recovered alive besides 45 bodies.
Lahore District Coordination Officer Muhammad Usman announced the completion of rescue operation. He said 17,500 tons of the building rubble had been removed from the site during the operation.
Strict action will be taken against those responsible for the incident, he added. Director General Rescue 1122 Arshad Zia said three workers are still missing. He said there now there are least chances of any worker being alive under the rubble.
