Armed men gunned down vice chairman of Union Council Nawarra over old enmity here on Monday and escaped from the scene.
Police said that armed men of rival group opened firing at Meva Khan Brohi, the Vice Chairman of UC Nawarra, Jacobabad with whom they had old enmity. As a result, he died on the spot while the accused fled after committing the crime.
His body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against the nominated murderers have started raids for their arrests.
