Iqbal Day National Bridge Tournament was held at the Lahore Gymkhana Club under the auspices of the Lahore Bridge Association on November 8 and 9 (Sunday, Monday), in which eleven teams from Karachi, Islamabad, Multan and Lahore participated.
The tournament was won by Tipu IV with 143 points while Aces grabbed the second position with 131. With 129 points, Holden stood third while 1220 IV secured fourth place scoring 125 points. Sabres was positioned fifth with 107 points. The only ladies team, ‘Yummy’ participated and displayed good bridge acumen playing against more established teams.
Prizes were distributed among the top five teams. Special gifts were awarded to the ladies team.
