Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that participation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in National Assembly Speaker’s elections has proved its acceptance of NA-122 results.
In an interview on Monday, he said the government wants to go ahead to serve the country in collaboration with other political parties. He regretted that a peculiar mindset is using indecent language and levelling baseless allegations against their rivals. He urged the political parties to forget their petty differences, shun the politics of confrontation, and jointly work for development of the country. He said contesting the election of Speaker was a democratic right of PTI’s candidate Shafqat Mahmood.
