Sindh Health minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar dismissed 9 doctors from their services on Sunday due to their long absence without any intimation.
Dr Sofia, Dr Maria Baloch, Dr Seeta, Dr Jay Kamari, Dr Masuma, Dr Noureen, Dr Noureen Hanif, Dr Fahreen and Dr Muhammad Baig are among those who have been removed from their service while more than 15 doctors have been given warnings and final show cause notice and asked to join their duties within 15 days otherwise they would be terminated from their service.
Most of the absent doctors are abroad without obtaining any prior permission, according to health department.
