CTD arrests three terrorists with arms, explosives in Karachi

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested three terrorists and recovered arms and explosives from their possession on Sunday.

CTD In-charge Ali Raza told media personnel that responding to an intelligence report, an operation was conducted in Manghopir locality of the metropolis.

He said the three suspects were tasked with avenging the killing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) leader Malik Ishaq.

During the operation, three terrorists were apprehended along with arms and huge quantity of explosive materials. CTD sources said that the nabbed terrorists were planning terror attacks but timely action foiled the bid.

The detained terrorists have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
