A four-day anti-polio campaign will be carried out from November 9-12 in Sukkur in which children under five years of age would be vaccinated against the disease.
Reviewing arrangements for the polio drive in a meeting on Sunday, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sukkur Abdul Ghaffar Soomro said that all available resources would be utilised to ensure success of the campaign.
He said that special teams would cover all entry points of the district so that no child would remain unattended. The ADC said that arrangements for the polio campaign had been finalised. Teams had been constituted, which would cover bus-stands, railway stations, markets and other public places.
