Shehbaz thanks Turkey for assistance in quake-hit areas

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday applauded Turkey’s rescue activities for quake victims in Pakistan.
While meeting with famous Turkey investment group chairman Abdul Qadir Turan in Lahore, he stated that Turkey has always assisted Pakistan in difficult time. He said that Turkey has dispatched 750 bags for earthquake and flood affectees.
Mr Sharif added that Pakistan wants to strengthen everlasting ties with Turkey. He said that the incumbent government is keen in enhancing bilateral relations with all the neighbouring countries.
On the other hand, relief and rescue operation is in full swing after 7.5 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 270 people in Pakistan on October 26.

Albayrak Group of Companies chief meets CM Sharif

Chairman Albayrak Group of Companies of Turkey Ahmet Albayrak met Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday.
Matters regarding promotion of investment in energy, transport and construction sectors were discussed on the occasion.
Ahmet Albayrak congratulated chief minister on the success of investment conference. Sharif while speaking on the occasion said that due to vibrant policies of the government the confidence of local and foreign investors has been restored. He said that signing of more than 150 agreements and memorandums of understanding in the investment conference is a big success.
He said that all out facilities will be provided to the foreign investors on priority basis. Ahmet Albayrak said that investment of Albayrak Group in different sectors in Punjab has increased 100 million dollars. He said that his group wants to invest in energy and construction sectors as well.
