At least three people were killed when a truck hit a motorcycle here on Saturday.
Rescue sources said that the accident took place on Chiniot Road in Sherabad locality of Jhang where an over speeding truck knocked down a motorcycle carrying four people.
Three motorcyclists died on the spot in the accident while another was seriously wounded. The truck driver managed to escape from the scene.
The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police took truck into custody and after registering a case against fleeing driver started efforts for his arrest.
