Local police recovered body of a teenage girl on Friday.
Police officials said the body bore torture marks, adding that it seemed the victim was severely tortured before being gunned down.
They said some locals of Engineer Town had informed them about the body after they spotted it at an abandoned place.
The body has now been shifted to a local hospital for postmortem and identification. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. However a case has been registered and investigation is in progress.
