The economic conditions and social demands have resulted in a scenario in which working women have tremendous pressure to develop a career as robust as their male counterparts while sustaining active engagement in personal life.
Recently, PTCL has introduced work-from-home facility for working mothers, allowing them to work from home two days per month. As an employee and mother of two children, aged 2 and 4, and with my husband away on business trips for most of the year, this new feature is practically a godsend for me. Now, I no longer have to worry about not spending enough time with my two sons. This initiative is helping me and many other working mothers attain success both at home and on the job.
I am sure that other companies will also follow the same and introduce such initiative to help female staff in managing work life balance in more effective and efficient way.
