A woman was burnt alive and households worth millions of rupees were burnt to ashes when a house caught fire on Thursday.
Rescue sources said that fire started due to unknown reasons and immediately engulfed the house located on Sheikhupura Road near Bhutta Stop in Faisalabad. The fire tenders and rescue personnel reached the scene and extinguished the fire after efforts of more than two hours.
The body of the woman was shifted to hospital for autopsy.
