Fawad Khan’s groundbreaking Bollywood debut with Khoobsurat turned all eyes towards him and in a span of just one year in B-Town it seems like every director wants the Pakistani actor in their film.
Earlier, it was reported that Fawad had announced his exit from Sonam Kapoor’s next film, Battle of Bittora. However, all the rumours have now been put to rest as a source denied the news.
“He is still part of the film and is waiting for the final script to be ready,” the source was quoted as saying, reports Filmfare. It is yet to be confirmed what role the actor will be playing in the film.
Reports previously stated that Fawad opted out of the film because of his reservations with intimate scenes. However, the actor had then brushed aside all rumours claiming that his busy schedule didn’t allow him to sign the film.
Other reports also suggested that the Pakistani actor, who is all set to be seen in Karan Johar’s next Kapoor and Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, has found his mentor in the ace director.
KJo was also in the news for playing a part in the actor’s decision to refuse the former’s offer.
Fawad recently wrapped up the shoot for Kapoor and Sons alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt and is currently busy shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil — starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anuskha Sharma, Aishwarya Rai and Imran Abbas — in Vienna.
He is expected to leave for India in January next to year to complete the Mumbai’s shoot schedule.
