The PTI chief was served notice over his non-appearance in the court in connection with a case regarding health reforms in KPK.

The court issued the notice over Pakistan Medical Association’s (PMA) application which stated that Khan had described doctors as ‘mafia’ during his recent media talk.

PMA further stated that Khan attempted to influence the sub judice Health Act case through media.

Hearing the doctor’s application, Chief Justice PHC issued summons to Khan to appear in the court at 12pm on Thursday to clear his position; however, Khan did not appear before the judge on which, the court issued contempt of court notice to Khan and ordered him to appear in the next hearing on 12 Nov.
