A shopkeeper on Wednesday killed a dacoit and injured another, while their accomplices managed to flee.
As per details, a group of dacoits entered an electronics shop at Chungi No 9 area in Multan and started looting the valuables. However, the owner of the shop opened fire at the robbers, killing one on the spot while another sustained bullet injuries. The other dacoits managed to escape.
The dead dacoit was identified as Amin. Police have shifted the injured dacoit, identified as Mursaleen to Nishtar Hospital, where he was said to be in critical condition.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Atif Akram said that they were conducting raids for the arrest of the escaped dacoits.
