The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the government to appoint the chairman of Federal Service Tribunal (FST) within 15 days.
Hearing a case, a three member bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali said the appointment has to be made on merit in accordance with the law.
The attorney general assured the court that members of the Federal Service Tribunal will also be appointed after the appointment of the chairman.
