The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday granted time to Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali, for submission of his written reply till 10 November, over alleged violations of elections code of conduct.
A four-member commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan resumed hearing into the purported violation of code of conduct issued by the ECP for the local government election.
District coordination officer (DCO) and city police officer (CPO) Faisalabad submitted their written reply regarding the alleged violation. To this, Abid Sher Ali sought time for submitting written reply over the report of DCO and CPO.
