Ulema urged to play role for elimination of extremism from society

Chairman Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has urged the Ulema and religious scholars from all sects to play their vital role for eliminating extremism and terrorism from the society.

Addressing at the Ulema Convention here Tuesday organised by the Pakistan Ulema Council, he said that it was responsibility of Ulema to aware the youth from extremist organization which were working to defame the real face of Islam.

Tahir Asharfi said the Pakistan Ulema Council would celebrate the month of Rabiul Awal as a month of “Rahmat-ul-Alamin” this year.

The Chairman called for Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia to play their role to resolve all the issue of Islamic states like Syria, Iraq, Yamen, Kashmir and Palestine.
Pakistan Ulema Council is being established as an institution “Darulafta” to provide facility to the people according to the religious affairs.

Central Secretary General of Pakistan Ulema Council Zahid Mehmood Qasmi appreciated the Hajj arrangements of Saudi Arabia.

Maulana Abdul Kareem, Maulana Ayub Safdar and Maulama Nadeen also participated in the convention.
