A man has been shot dead within the Rawat police jurisdiction.
According to the police, the deceased, identified as Muhammad Javed, a resident of Bagh, was a watchman at a CNG filling station on Kalar Road in Rawat. Unknown assailants shot him at the pimp while he was performing his duty.
The police took the body into custody and shifted it to the Polyclinic for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
