Big changes likely in county next week: Pagaro

The chief of PML (Functional), Pir Pagaro, said on Sunday that he was looking big changes in the country next week.

Talking to newsmen at Pir Jo Goth after meeting with PML-F workers, the spiritual leader of Hurs, Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi, said he was looking big change in next week. He said the PPP indulged in big rigging and the government machinery was used in local government election. He said: “Even ROs and DROs besides police worked for the victory of PPP candidates.”

Pir Pagaro said Asif Zardari would not return to the country. He strongly condemned the killing of his followers in Khairpur and said it was a targeted attack on his followers. He advised the victims’ families and followers to remain calm. Pir Pagro said that the Mutahida Muslim League would become a reality when Punjab Leagues would stop creating hindrances in this regard.

He said the announcement of agri-package was only for Punjab and not for other provinces where the growers were facing difficulties due to faulty policy of the government. Meanwhile, son of Pir Pagara, Pir Ismail Shah Rashdi gave a 48-hours notice to the provincial government for action against culprits of Waryo Wahan incident in which 12 innocent people were killed on Saturday. He said 35 PML-F workers were still missing and SSP Khairpur and Rangers have assured for their release.

On the other hand, a complete strike was observed in Pir Jo Goth, Kingri, Ahmed Pur, Choundinko, Nara, Paka Chang, Hingorja Sobhodero and other parts of  the district on Sunday against the killing of 12 followers of Pir Pagaro.
