NAB KP Friday arrested accused Salauddin, Director (BPS-19) of Provincial Housing Authority, Peshawar. He is allegedly involved in accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income worth millions of rupees.
As per details, the matter was brought into the notice of NAB KP. Taking notice of the matter, inquiry was authorized to ascertain the facts and collect requisite evidence regarding moveable and immoveable properties owned, controlled and possessed by the accused in his own name and in the name of his dependents.
During Inquiry, it was revealed that the accused Salauddin during his service accumulated huge assets disproportionate to his known legal sources of income. These included 3 plots each 1 Kanal at Regi Model Town, Peshawar, 16 Marla plot at MPCH Islamabad, one Kanal plot at Phase-II Hayatabad Peshawar, Double story Banglow at Phase-7 Hayatabad Peshawar, 8 Marla plot in Defence Housing Authority, Islamabad Luxury Banglow at Phase-2 Hayatabad, Peshawar and two Carolla Cars.
Additionally, the accused made huge unexplained transactions in bank accounts. NAB KP is actively pursuing the case and more properties are expected to be unearthed.
