Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its ongoing efforts to control grey traffic conducted a raid on an illegal Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) exchange on Thursday.
According to details, PTA along with an FIA team conducted a raid at the Karachi Mohallah, Saddar, Lahore Cantt. The illegal VOIP exchange consisted of 4 gateways. Multiple ports and other equipment including SIMs, switches, a laptop and wireless devices were confiscated. Two persons were arrested who are now in FIA’s custody for further investigation.
