Bilawal likely to cast vote in Naudero

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is expected to cast his first ever vote today (Saturday) in Major Mujahid Mirani Memorial Government Primary School-3 at polling No 1.

Khalid Memon, PPP City Naudero chapter president, told PPI that Bilawal would arrive here today for exercising his right to vote for the first time in his life. He said his name in the voters list was at serial No 1 with block code 303.

As many as 18 polling stations have been established for conducting elections for seven wards of Naudero municipal committee where 22,238 registered voters would exercise their right. Some 10,558 are female and 11,680 are male voters here. As many as 48 polling booths will be established on early morning on election day in 18 polling stations out of which half have been declared sensitive and other half extremely sensitive by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Polling staff has been handed over all required election material which they have shifted to the polling stations under police security which included ballot boxes, ballot papers, booths and other related material. Candidates of ruling PPP, PPP-Shaheed Bhutto and independents are fighting for seven seats.
