The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle ten kilogram heroin abroad and arrested the smuggler at Islamabad Airport on Thursday.
ASF sources said that during luggage checking of a passenger at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad, who was leaving for Dubai through a private airline, 10 kg of heroin worth millions of rupees in international market was recovered.
The security personnel seized the recovered drug and arrested the smuggler identified as Abdul Rehman and hailing from district Gujrat.
