The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Thursday recommended raising the petroleum prices by Rs 5.75 per liter. The summary has been sent to the petroleum ministry.
The summary recommends increasing the prices from November 1. According to the summary, the petrol price will be raised by Rs. 5.28 per liter. High Octane price will be raised by Rs 5.73, high speed diesel price by Rs 3.34 and kerosene price will be raised by Rs 3.89 per liter. Light diesel price will be raised by Rs 2.70 per liter. The finance ministry will announce the final prices on October 31 after approval from the prime minister.
