Police on Wednesday arrested an imposter who used to raid hotels and blackmail owners, pretending to be food department director.
The woman identified as Falak Naz used to raid hotels along with her cohorts and blackmail owners into giving her huge sums of money.
Responding to complaints of hotel owners, the police conducted a raid and arrested the fake food director. Police are conducting raids to arrest other accomplices of the detainee.
In the preliminary interrogation, Naz admitted raiding several hotels in the provincial capital and receiving bribes from the owners by blackmailing them.
The police after registering a case against the imposter have started the investigation and may be making more arrests soon.
