On the call of Primary Schoolteachers Association, primary teachers of city closed down their schools and announced to boycott elections duties during the coming local government polls.
The Primary Schoolteachers Association protested against the education secretary, and the government of Sindh. The angry teachers also held a protest demonstration in front of local press club and demanded to remove the education secretary for his alleged negative attitude towards primary teachers of the province.
