Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir Lahore, PLMN Azad Kashmir Lahore Division, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Jamat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Punjab chapter, Jamiat Ulma e Islam Azad Kashmir Lahore Division, Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir Pakistan, Kashmir Action Committee, Jamu and Kashmir Lawyers wing, Jamu and Kashmir Liberation Front and students of City Technology College Shahdra on Tuesday staged a protest outside Lahore Press Club in favour of Kashmiri people of occupied Kashmir and demanded the UNO to get the Kashmir freed from the undue occupation of India.
Protesters chanted slogans against Indian occupation over Kashmir and criticised the UNO for keeping mum over the issue of Kashmir despite the lapse of around 68 years.
Speakers addressing the protesters said Kashmiri people should be given the right of plebiscite as India would have to be accountable for its repression and atrocities over people of occupied Kashmir.
Observing Black day, the speakers said that they have gathered once again to give message to world powers that Pakistanis are with the people of occupied Kashmir and against India for its constant occupation over Kashmir against the will of people of the Kashmir.
