Aftershocks felt in Peshawar claim three more lives

Aftershocks were felt in Peshawar and adjoining areas on Wednesday morning, killing three of a family when roof of their house collapsed at them, as death toll from Monday’s devastating earthquake reached 363.
A man and his two granddaughters were killed when roof of their house located on Peshawar’s Ring Road crashed on to them following the aftershocks.

At least four other people were also injured in the accident. The bodies and the wounded were shifted to hospital.
According to Rescue 1122, the rooftop of the building was badly impacted by the earthquake
According to Seismic Center, 38 aftershocks have so far been recorded since Monday when a powerful earthquake measuring 8.1 on the Richter scale caused widespread devastation in northwestern areas, damaging over 9000 houses.
Met Office has warned for more aftershocks in northern areas, with threat of landsliding still looming over the mountainous areas due to movement of glaciers and rock formations.
