Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan expressing deep sense of grief over the massive life losses due to earthquake has directed for all out rescue and relief efforts to facilitate the victims and treatment for the injured.
In a statement issued here, Imran Khan said that loss of precious lives due to earthquake was a national disaster and we all needed to join hands for rescue and relief activities sinking personal and political differences.
He directed the PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government to remain vigilant and activate all concerned departments for conducting relief and rescue operation in the areas of the province were affected most due to quake.
The PTI chief also asked for providing best treatment facilities to the injured, supply of food items, tents, clean drinking water, dispatching medical teams and medicines to the affected areas.
He said that natural calamities were a test time for the entire nation and we all should play role to deal with the situation created after disastrous earthquake. He also urged the well to do people for extending help to their brethren who were in trouble.
Imran hoped that entire nation will stand united to help people who were adversely affected due to the earthquake.
