Polio certificates

Polio campaigns in Pakistan were started around 1982 but even in 2015 we haven’t been able to get rid of it. Because of this viral disease Pakistan has been reproached by the world and Pakistanis are prohibited to travel without polio certificates.

Here comes another opportunity for our government officers to manipulate people. People who are flying out of the country need polio certificates as a prerequisite. They are being charged between Rs200-500 per certificate and if you want it urgently, you have to pay around Rs1,000 for a certificate that should be free, and which is needed because of ineptness and failure of the government in the first place.

A prompt action should be taken against those who are charging more than what is due.
