PML-N, PTI workers’ clash leaves one dead, 5 wounded

A clash between activists of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf late Sunday evening left one person dead and five others wounded in Lahore.
Reportedly, the incident took place in Yakki Gate area, where activists of the two parties, who were raising slogans in favour of their parties’ candidates for local body elections, came face to face. The injured activists were ferried to the Mayo Hospital. The PTI activist killed in the brawl was identified as Khurram. Later in the night, senior PTI leader and its Punjab Organiser Chaudhry Sarwar visited the hospital to inquire after the wounded workers of his party.
