A man’s burned body has been found in a mosque which was under-construction in the Wah Cantonment area, police said.
Mudassir Ahmed Qadri, a passer-by, spotted the body lying out in the lawn of the mosque and informed the police, which collected the body.
According to the police, the victim, who was later identified as Javed, had badly been burnt by unidentified assailants before throwing the body within the boundary wall.
The police have registered a case and started investigation.
