So apparently, women now have even more reasons to hate a beard after a new report revealed men who grow out their facial hair are more likely to cheat, fight and steal in contrast to those of us who are bare-faced.
This new report by video social network site Eva revealed the results after surveying almost 2,000 consumers from Blighty and said that 47 per cent of men with beards admitted to being unfaithful compared to 20 per cent of clean-shaved guys. 47 per cent of bearded lads told researchers that they enjoyed the occasional fist fight, compared to 29 per cent of those without a beard. Whilst 40 per cent admitted that they have stolen in the past, compared to 17 per cent of those with fuck all facial hair.
wish I could say the bad news ends there- but it doesn’t. The findings also revealed that women are finding the look a lot less attractive, with 62 per cent thinking its’ a ‘bad look’, whilst 44 per cent labelled them “unhygienic”- no shit, getting crumbs in your beard isn’t the cleanest and sexiest look now is it.
Eva co-founder Jen Wikholm told Yahoo News , “It definitely seems that women prefer the clean shaven look and fashion will respond to that. Times change and trends shift, so men who want to stay on the bleeding edge of popular fashion might want to think twice before they let their facial hair get too long.”
