Parliamentary leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the National Assembly (NA) Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday that after refusal of India to enter into talks to resolve the bilateral issues, Pakistan shouldn’t insist on dialogues.
Talking to media personnel, Qureshi said that Pakistan had put all its efforts for talks with India to resolve the longstanding bilateral disputes but that India didn’t seem sincere to resolve the issues.
“When it’s over, it’s over. Pakistan shouldn’t stress for holding talks with India,” he said.
The PTI leader said that Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has failed completely to create an environment conducive for talks and the aggressive attitude of the Modi led Indian government in this regard was shocking.
Commenting on the meeting of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with US President Barack Obama in the White House on Wednesday, Qureshi said that old issues were repeated during the meeting and that there was nothing new.
