The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to launch an operation against illegal bus terminals and encroachments in Faizabad and surrounding areas.
The CDA has sought assistance from the Islamabad district administration and police to launch the operation is likely to be started from 26 October.
As per notification issued by CDA Director General Estate , the civic agency has sought police force’s help from Islamabad Deputy Commissioner to launch the operation to retrieve the CDA land from illegal occupants.
Around 100 police personnel of Islamabad will be deployed during the operation to avert any unpleasant incident.
The Assistant Commissioner Islamabad and Magistrate Islamabad will remain present on the occasion to award punishment to violators. The CDA has nominated Deputy Director Enforcement Muhammad Iqbal as focal person to contact other departments in connection with the operation.
