Fifteen passengers were killed and 40 others wounded when a speeding coach turned turtle near Chorasi Bridge in Khanewal on Thursday.
Rescuers rushed to the scene after the accident and started rescue efforts. The dead and the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals where an emergency was declared. Doctors at the hospitals said many of the wounded were in serious condition. They feared that the death toll might rise.
