Police in a drive launched against anti-social elements, arrested several people for possessing illegal weapons, drugs and bottles of liquor.
Acting on a tip off, teams of various police stations conducted raids on hideouts of criminals and apprehended 18 people besides recovering pistols, drugs, and bottles of liquor from their possession.
Those arrested from various locations include New Town, Rawat, Gujar Khan, R.A. Bazzar, and Pirwadai. Cases were registered against outlaws for further investigation.
