The special public prosecutors in the Safoora tragedy case resigned on Tuesday.
In August, the Sindh government had appointed Muhammad Khan Buriro advocate and Mubashir Hussain Mirza advocate as special public prosecutors in the case. The special public prosecutors said they were not provided compensation, security or residence at a safe location according to promises made by the Sindh government.
