CM Balochistan meets Shahbaz

Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Maalik met Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Monday to discuss matters of mutual interest and promotion of inter-provincial relations.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharif said that all out efforts were being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to overcome energy shortage and eliminate terrorism from the country.

He said that practical measures had been taken during the last two and a half years for the progress and development of the country which were yielding positive results.

He said that there was a need for adopting a collective approach in the interest of the country as giving preference to personal interests had caused a huge loss to the nation.

Sharif said the PML-N government was taking all political forces on board and decisions had been taken with consensus on all important issues. He said that unprecedented work had been carried out on energy projects under the current government.

Sharif said that power projects were being completed expeditiously and a number of such projects would be producing electricity by 2017.

He expressed confidence in the efforts of the government to root out terrorism and resolve energy crisis.
