The Sihala police on the complaint of an alleged land grabber group have registered an FIR against a dead person who died some six years ago.
The alleged land grabbers had nominated late Makhan Khan, his wife Imtiaz Bibi and their two sons over a land dispute. Later, Imtiaz Bibi also approached the Sihala police and lodged a complaint that the alleged land grabbers have kidnapped her two sons to grab her seven canal land which was located at a prime location near a housing scheme in Islamabad. She said that the case was bogus and the alleged land grabbers have even nominated her husband, who died six months ago.
The Sihala police said that they were investigating both the FIRs and the name of Makhan Khan will be dropped if he was no more alive.
