Police have arrested 619 criminals from different areas during the first fifteen days of October.
A police spokesman on Sunday said that 178 drug peddlers, 175 proclaimed offenders, 148 illicit weapon holders, 98 target offenders and 20 court absconders were arrested by police.
The police recovered 14.5 kilograms of Heroin, 46.87 kilograms charas, 45 litres of liquor, 20 Kalashnikovs, three rifles, 108 pistols, 12 guns, six revolvers, two carbines and a number of bullets/cartridges from their possession.
Separate cases were registered by concerned police against the accused, he added.
