Police arrested a six-member motorcycle lifting family gang, comprising of three couples, during a crackdown on Sunday.
SP Tahir Maqsood said that after repeated complaints of motorcycles theft, a team was constituted to trace the culprits. He said that in the light of the information gathered from different sources, the Police conducted an operation, during which three brothers along with their wives were apprehended.
The SP said that the nabbed culprits have admitted to stealing more than 200 motorcycles and selling them in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
The Police, after registering a case against the detainees, have started an investigation.
